This story is within the same universe as 'Let's Play a Game' and comes before. Remy is a coffee loving, sassy, silver-tongued barista working at a little shop near the heart of Seattle. Emile is a bubbly, wide-eyed, cartoon fanatic of a college student just looking for a little change while he finishes up his undergrad. As sweet as these two are, things tend to be a little sour when they are together. - I have a thing where I try to find a song or two that relates to the story I'm trying to tell. This can be anything from a specific scene, a certain tone I'm trying to convey, or even (in some rare cases) a song that encompasses the story as a whole. For this one, I did find a song that fit the story very well, though I won't reveal it till later (although it may be a little obvious) -

Go watch dash and lily on Netflix. It seems it inspired this story and it's a good series A cute little christmas romance between two young men, Roman and Virgil.
