A sweet, small-town Beyoncé Knowles is forced to leave her loving neighborhood when something tragic strikes. She now have to get accustomed to the new environment, people, and school. Things starts to get hopeless until she meets trouble maker Onika Maraj.

Once there she meets the school's menace Onika Maraj. Onika is a troubled teen, she's amazingly talented but the abyss of her dark past hinders her from what there is to come. Dr. Knowles and Onika immediately bump heads but what happens when they both sense something past their simultaneous hatred they have for one another.
