A story about the cracks in the armor, the weight of emerald rings, and how a "Villain" and a "Mess" saved each other just enough to survive the storm. Author's Note: This story serves as a "secret history" explaining the depth of the bond between Siobhan and Marjorie in the canon timeline. It recontextualizes Siobhan's cruelty as a survival tactic and highlights Marjorie's emotional intelligence. The title, Structural Efficiencies, is ironic-their relationship was messy and inefficient, but it provided the structural support they needed to keep from collapsing.
