This is not a happy story. Please, don't read it if you're looking to be entertained. I took the original abstract piece that was posted here and turned it into a fully fleshed out essay for a college class; I made my classmates weep. I'm updating the post in the hopes that the additional details, anecdotes, and reflections could help someone who needs to know they are not alone.

Maddison Roberta Nicholas was an ordinary girl, did her homework, went to school and had crushes on totally cute boys, that is until her older brother Raymond goes missing and Maddison gets a strange call from a woman claiming that she knows where Raymond is. Suddenly Maddison is thrown into a strange world full of assassins, cute guys who carry guns, bloody knifes and an evil man with a revenge filled heart. But things are not all what they seem...when you’re Paid to Kill.

Charlie and Elizabeth have been best friends since they were 3 years old, and have been dating since they were 13 years old. One month before Charlie is supposed to come home for good from the army, his friend Evan comes and delivers the worst news possible to Elizabeth. Charlie died in an explosion a week ago. Elizabeth doesn't know what to do; her whole world is gone. Her best friend and the love of her life is gone forever.

Lilly Bethany has always had a crush on Trevor Conners, but when he asks her out Lilly's world turns into great into just working out nicely. If her pain in the butt sister wasn't enough she now has to fight with Sierra Rock. But when Michelle's Party comes along, Lilly makes a big choice, that may take her crush away from her.
