Some say our destiny is tied to the land, as much a part of us as we are of it. Others say fate is woven together like a cloth, so that one’s destiny intertwines with many others. It’s the one thing we search for, or fight to change. Some never find it. Some say fate is beyond our command, but I know better. Our destiny is within us. You just have to be brave enough to see it. I changed my fate four years ago when I accidentally turned me mum into a bear. That was fun. But, now, my fate is changing again, and in ways that I'm not sure if I want it to. I am turning twenty in only a few weeks, and when I turn twenty-one next year, I will be all set to inherit the crown, if me da decides that I'm ready. The only problem is: the rules of the country are that if a princess is to inherit the throne, she is to have a husband before she is crowned. That's the reason I am not looking forward to this year. For one year, I will have the sons of the three clans in our country under the same roof as me. Me parents decided that it would be best to have them "woo" me. But they won't be the only ones. Two princes from two other countries are coming too, because me mum is friends with both of their mums. I doubt that this will work. Ever.
