Y/n is the daughter of Janson. She has been forced to work for wicked her whole life and she has become close to the other kids there. When Aris is sent into the maze, she volunteers to go to the Scorch to accompany Group B as they make their way towards the safe haven. Sent in as a spy for WICKED, we see Group B's experience as they journey through the Scorch.

Y/N's life is simple seeing as there aren't any emotions to complicate it. As a child WCKD ripped her away from her family. From there they did every new experiment imaginable. She was the ultimate test subject. All because she didn't seem to react when they shot her mother. The truth is as a child in a cruel world who just didn't know how. They didn't see it that way though. She was nothing more than an experiment. Now she's unable to feel emotions. Or so she was convinced. Then, she's made to interview him. Aris seemed to pull her in. For some reason her heart didn't seem completely frozen when he was around. Is it enough to listen to his advice and make it out though?

She was practically cursed to be someone to look out for since birth. Having lived her entire life in the Scorch, she was on edge, paranoid, and was always prepared to kill. Even if it made her enemies, she did what she had to to survive. Aris knew nothing about that sort of lifestyle. His Maze and two weeks out there didn't make him cold. It didn't make him so dangerous that getting close to someone would risk their lives. She did though. She was like that, so when this random boy she had a terrible first impression with told her to stay in the Safe Haven, she wasn't eager to take it. Not at all. Even if it was her only chance of normalcy. Even if it was her only chance of falling in love.

Harriet and Sonya were the only girls from Maze B to make it out of WCKD, right?It was to late for everyone else.I don't know where you heard that because you're wrong.Y/N got separated from her friends in the Scorch and had been on her own.At least, until she ran into some random boy out in that hell.Even if Aris hadn't known her it was clear the girl wasn't a threat...to them. Even with her limp when she's facing the elements she's nothing short of deadly.She had to be or there wasn't any hope for her to make it. Him though? He became her only hope.

The Safe Haven is the chance for everyone to finally be free, to forget the hell that went through and just live. It's their chance to make up for losing their lives. Aris wants that too, more than he's ever wanted anything. He just can't have it. Not when Y/N's still around, reminding him that no matter what happens WCKD will always be there. Whether they know it or not, the marks they left, that she left, cannot be undone. Maybe they could be forgiven though. While they should never be forgotten they should be learned from. So maybe they can learn from each other. Maybe they can learn to love.
