The story takes place during the events of the Tournament of Elements (Season 4), adding new characters, deeper lore, and even some extra minigames to spice things up. (It's not just purely rewritten from screen to words.) The Ninja discuss strategy for their upcoming matches, reminisce on their adventures before the Merge, and mourn the absence of their fellow Ninja and compatriots. Nya has a chance encounter with the shady newcomer of the Wolf Clan, whom she'll be facing soon in the ring. Lord Ras plots his next move against the Ninja, planning on turning an ally from their past into a valuable asset. Part 1 of 2.
