The Charmed Ones took her in when she was 5 years old because a demon had killed her parents and are showing her how to control her powers since she's only young.

She finds her older brother, Neal Caffrey one of the best criminal masterminds known to man, in New York one day and stays with him. Together they must uncover the mystery of the music box. And Neal must decide if family is more important than the girl he loves, or the girl he loves is more important than his family. Not as bad as it sounds, hopefully. It helps if you've watched White Collar. If you haven't well, check it out, it's a really cool show.
