After events of Rise of Skywalker. In a galaxy far, far away... A year has gone by after events of Exegol and galaxy is on a brink of chaos. Rey - lonely Jedi Knight is on the journey chasing impossible. Battle on Exegol brought many together, at the same time it split many more apart. Too many are fighting for themselves in this vacuum of leading government. The Resistance is challenged by aftermath of battle desperately trying to bring balance to systems in galaxy step by step. Groups of late First Order troops are standing on ready in hiding. The followers of First Order doesn't believe in promises for peace by Resistance.

2 years after Rey decides to stay on Tatooine, she receives a message from General Poe, regarding force sensitive rebels who are capable of using the force without being trained. One of these individuals is her dearest friend, Finn. Finn personally asks Rey to train him to be a Jedi. Though Rey has learnt to master the force, she will learn that to truly master something you must teach it to someone else. Rey has found peace in many places within herself, but one part of her remains hollow. She has not been able to fill the void that could only have been filled by the other half of her dyad, Ben Solo. For two years, Ben has not shown himself to her; not the way Leia and Luke had... not at all. She would have loved just to see him once more; just to hear his voice one last time. She decides to train Finn. Perhaps, she thinks, it will take her mind off of... him. While training Finn, she happens upon new realisations of the force she had not previously known. She might just know how to bring Ben back for good. She embarks on a new mission; to learn something, realise something or, hopefully, more than the others, to bring Ben Solo back.

It is a little fanfiction in a style of a diary. The most diary entries are from Ben Solo and a few are from Rey because Ben is the main character in the Story.

Every Reylo heart out there broke the moment Ben Solo disappeared in his last scene in TROS. Including mine, after watching the movies a hundred times and reading every Reylo fanfic out there, I decided to finally write my own. I will hopefully be posting at least once a week:) Enjoy! My novel is set after "The force awakens". It does have some similarities to TLJ and TROS, even though the plot is different, some of the same events will happen etc. Rey is currently back on Jakku, resting and regaining her powers. Finn, Poe and the rest of the resistance are undercover, hiding from the First order, whom are building themselves up again, really fast. Luckily, Rey has BB8 with her, as her companion. "Ben...," a request hanging between her lips, eyes searching the darkness for words, she turned to face him. "We can't do this. I can't do this. We made our choices on Crait. I can't help you.I can't save us. " Each word she said hurt her heart and wounded his like a dagger. " The force bond has not broken despite the death of Supreme Leader Snoke. Kylo Ren has an entire first order to prepare for the final battle that will seal the fate of the Galaxy. Rey has become a beacon of hope for the Resistance. Their moments of quite solitude are interrupted by the presence of the other. As their bond deepens, each finds it harder to pave their forward. The sense of intimacy and belonging they find in one another threatens to bring down the galaxy.
