You've been training too long to let this slip away. Passionate research, sleepless nights, and a difficult apprenticeship have led you here. Finally, a real private detective. You may understand the actions of a criminal, but your first client comes off as a mystery. The books never trained you on what to do when your client became a person of interest... romantically, at least.
Michael is your first client. He's a man afraid of the world. You're his last shot.
It's your choice. Is it worth it to go down this path? The story he tells seems far-fetched at best, and insane at worst.
You know what they say.
Curiosity killed the cat...
but satisfaction brought it back.

"And you're aware you have the right to remain silent, that anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law, you have the right to an attorney, and if you cannot afford an attorney, one will be provided for you. Correct?"
"Correct."
"Wonderful. Now, let's get started. Tell me what you know about 1983."
