Evangelee lives in a town were fictional creatures of darkness are real and on your 16th birthday you're locked in a house with one of these creatures of your parents choice for a certain amount of time. It is her 16th birthday and she is locked in with a werewolf which in wolf form would kill her on sight, but when it does find her he doesn't attack. At first she is confused but soon finds out she is his mate now she is living with him, but there is a mystery in the woods, who is this 'girl' people keep talking about and can they find out soon enough to survive. You will have to read this story to be able to understand it and find out who 'the girl' is.
