The only reference to it is one mention of the wall teleporter, and the word "Yoyle" is never even said - with the exception of the occasional catchphrase of "Yoylecake!" Not to mention that in the short Paper Towel, the Yoyle Needy is visible behind Yoyle Mountain, yet it's completely gone in BFB. It's almost like the contestants don't WANT to talk about it... what in the world happened?! On January 1st, 2010, the show known as Battle For Dream Island had begun. 20 contestants. 1 host. And a prize like none other. But all that had to come from somewhere, right? A group of rowdy objects don't just randomly show up in the middle of a grassy field. Hosts don't simply fall out of the sky. Not to mention the greatest mystery of all. The long-lost Yoyle City: a bustling metropolis turned ghost town for no apparent reason. Things like that can't just happen out of the blue. All the BFDI characters have appeared on an island that seems to be set up for them, and the strangest thing is that they are all from different timelines. Will the characters solve this mystery and escape? Very positive, has a lot of changes in the pov, expect a lot of crack friendships. This fanfic is heavily inspired in a homestuck fan comic called "Karkat goes to a convention", if you like homestuck i really recommend you to read it (cuz it's awesome).
