Kageyama gets suspicious of Hinata when he starts acting different. Things that they have always done regularly make him now flinch or jump. Kageyama learns that Hinata is having issues with his family one night when he asks him why he isn't going home. Kageyama knew something was wrong with Hinata, but things were far worse then he expected.

Kageyama is a college student who suffers from anxiety and depression. He struggles through his classes and any other situations where he needs to be around people. He is fascinated by a very cute, very outgoing redhead in one of his classes and wonders obsessively about how someone seems so at ease around people. He develops a tiny crush, but never speaks to the redhead -- doesn't even know his name -- until one night at a crowded movie premier. Then it seems he runs into Hinata all the time. Is the universe trying to tell him something? Can the energetic boy with the megawatt smile find a way to connect with the painfully shy, socially awkward, anxious classmate? Will Hinata's gentle and accepting nature calm the worry that constantly plagues Kageyama and finally give him some peace? CW: anxiety, depression, self-harm College AU; all characters are 18+. Kageyama's always loved music. His entire life, he's had a natural talent for the guitar. That's why he puts in endless amounts of effort to improve every single day. And why, just this time last year, he joined the Karasuno High school specifically to join their band. He didn't get to play too much as a first-year, but he didn't mind. Just seeing and hearing music, and knowing that being in a band is what he was meant to do, was enough. That's exactly why he's angry. Because Hinata Shoyo, a second-year just like him, immediately joins the band and becomes their lead singer. And to top it all off - he's never played an instrument in his life. But what angers him the most is that even though he isn't very good, even though he's clumsy, and even though he's a complete idiot, Kageyama sees the same determination in his eyes that were once in his own. As they try their best to work together with the rest of the band, Kageyama and Hinata soon realize that music isn't what sets them apart. In fact, it's precisely the thing that brings the two of them together.

Sugawara, Narita, and Kinoshita are trapped inside the school. Kiyoko, Ennoshita, and Yachi are fighting for their lives in a cramped locker room. Daichi and Hinata are cornered inside of a gym closet. Nishinoya is alone and struggling to survive.
