Tanjiro was once an ordinary teenage boy who lived a quiet life on a mountain. He lived a fulfilling life and supported his family through selling charcoal. However, this peace would not last as one faithful night he returned home to find a merciless demon consuming the flesh of his beloved siblings and mother. The boy tried to stand up to its power, but stood absolutely no chance. He would have suffered the same cruel fate as his family had he not been saved from the monster by a mysterious swordsman and his newly demonic sister. Now Tanjiro sets himself on a quest to become a Demon Slayer in order to restore the girl's humanity. Over the course of his journey he suffers constant hardship, intolerance, failure, defeat, and loss. However along the way he gains a new purpose in life and meets people who matter to him. Especially a quiet girl with a butterfly hair pin. The boy also gets involved with the politics of the world and learns the history of a lost empire that holds the keys towards destroying the demon king once and for all.

However, not everything is rosy, even in death. As Tanjiro disintegrated under the sun, Muzan injected all his remaining blood into Tanjiro's lifeless body. With his blood, Muzan implanted the phrase 'eliminate all demon hunters' into Tanjiro's mind. Tanjiro awakened without consciousness, driven solely by his Demon instincts, as his mind was no longer present. There were no more deaths, but the surviving Pillars had to sacrifice one of their arms and even their eyes to decapitate Tanjiro in his Demon form, thus bringing an end to his life. When Tanjiro opened his eyes, he found himself in a dark place, unable to see or smell anything. Remembering the battle against Muzan, he realized he was dead and sighed with relief, finally able to rest. It was at that moment... In this au tanjiro has been trained by his father tanjuro to use sun breathing. Tanjiro can use sun breathing 12 forms without any backlash, he does not know the 13th form of sun breathing. Another thing he looks a lot like yoriichi so muzan Jackson is going to have lot of heart attack when he will meet him in this au. The story will be quite similar to cannon timeline only that tanjiro is going to be a prodigy like muichiro tokito. Note English is not my mother tongue so there could be grammatical mistakes in the chapter so I apologized.

He has help of a sister that he swore to protect, the lover that he was meant to find, and friends who soon become his new family. A complex story with an additional development that wasn't seen in main canon, but it became a base to a whole new events and results, trying to show a lot of love and attention to our beloved characters, so they feel even more real and deep. Struggling with not only demons but their own problems and doubts. Plot armor isn't bad when you face so many other different challenges and you're at risk of losing many times. Some chapters might have a recomendation of Demon Slayer inspired track which are an inspiration to me. Check out these artists as they are a huge part of my life.
