In a Hospital on October 8th, 1984 at 4:03 am, Lorelai (Rory) Leigh Gilmore was born. Exactly 14 minutes later, Hailey Hope Gilmore-Hayden was born. Just 5 weeks after their birth their mother, Lorelai, realized that she could not take care of 2 babies. After a lengthy conversation with the babies father, Christopher Hayden, and a visit to custody court, Hailey was taken into primary custody of her father. She grew up in Hartford loved by her father and grandparents, Straub and Francine. While Rory and Lorelai move into a small town called Stars Hollow. While both girls knew about the other half of their family, they still remained in their separate lives. That is until Rory transfers to her high school and tries to create a semi-normal sibling relationship. After a rocky first year in school together, the sisters eventually create a stable relationship that begins to work for their dysfunctional family. That is until a certain dark haired bad boy decides to move to Stars Hollow and forms a friendship with one sister over the other. Creating jealousy stirring between the sisters. Will the sisters become estranged once again? Or will they choose to not let jealously take control over their new found relationship?

Everyone knows the story. Lorelai Gilmore got pregnant at 16, unwed, and left with her daughter. What they don't know is that she had twins. No one knew that she had twins, not even Christopher. In every and any foster home she's been she was always sent back for stealing. One day, she ran away and wound up in Stars Hollow, caught stealing from Luke's by Luke himself. He took her in and she's been with him for about 4 years. What happens when Luke's nephew Jess arrives to town and becomes Nick's best friend. Nick being the only person Jess tolerates in the whole town. And what happens when Stars Hollow find out what Lorelai did.
