Good Omens. Crowley and Aziraphale pose as husbands for a house party, because Aziraphale is bad at saying no (to anyone but Crowley and anyone trying to buy books). Crowley thinks this is a good chance to prove himself the perfect potential demon husband to a fussy angel. But things get complicated fast. Really complicated. A lot of pining, a lot of shopping and restaurants and party games, some near misses, but no sex until chapter 24 (and all of 25).

I forgive you. Aziraphale watched as Crowley walked out the door. He'd seen the demon walk out of the bookshop a million times, always knowing that he'd walk right back in the same door tomorrow. This time, the door closed with a stifling sense of irrevocability. This time, Crowley wasn't just walking out of his bookshop. This time, Crowley was walking out of his life. I forgive you. Foolish. Stupid. Cruel. Those hadn't been the words sitting at the tip of his tongue. Far from it. But it didn't matter. Meanwhile, Crowley is just trying to make the Bentley stop playing Taylor Swift.

Its no secret that Heaven - or at least the archangels - and Hell don't like the fact that Crowley and Aziraphale are so close. Eventually, the archangels decide to take matters into their own hands when even after the not-apocalypse, the two stuck together instead of fighting for Heaven or Hell. Gabriel and Michael confront Aziraphale with a deal and if he is able to uphold his end, Heaven and Hell will leave Aziraphale and Crowley alone for the rest of eternity, but if he fails? Well, it might be the last time he sees Crowley. Crowley and Aziraphale part ways after Crowley finally admits his feelings for the angel. But it would be naive to think the two beings could simply stay out of each other's way, when it's so obvious (and canon!) that they like each other. Some even suggest they're in love. - - - a silly little fix-it-story as a fast way to cope with the ending to the second season. originally uploaded in august 2023, entire rewrite in late 2025 / early 2026. not my cover art.

A new angel is sent to monitor the humans and report back to Heaven as a replacement for Aziraphale. Despite pretending so well, and doing such a good job of fitting in with the humans for quite awhile now, she slips up, and reveals her identity when she senses such an immense amount of love in someone that she just can't believe it. "You are so loved!" She shouts at the person she feels this from, before running away stuck in her jealousy. This left Aziraphale to ponder why there was another angel on Earth, but he figures it out quickly. What he does have trouble with, is figuring out who in his 6,000 years could have loved him so much that it throws off an angel in disguise. Which is Crowley's cue to panic. Warning: they're both dumbasses. Also, lots of fluff.
