After years of nothing, chaos broke in Ninjago City. Citizens have mysteriously gone missing, leaving the ninja in confusion. Weeks passed of this crisis, making the saviors feel useless, not being able to find a lead. Police have scouted the streets day in, day out, and alongside the ninja who traveled in shadows and atop rooftops. Their last adventure seemed to create consequences they never thought would snowball into something big. As a new force arises, the ninja struggle to keep up with the problems caused by their successful mission before, and the trouble being created by yet another villain.

Cole has lost so much in his life. But he never imagined his life could get any more exciting and difficult at the same time. After one eventful night, Cole and the ninja go on a brand new adventure, deep into the Dark Island in hopes of bringing something, or someone back after all these years. While on their journey, he finds deep feelings for a certain ninja in red, and a prophecy that will change his life.

This is my AU on how it should have gone when Kai and Bonzal got back from the Nether-Space. the AU I'm using is ENTIRELY for this fanfic. I also advise that if you haven't watched dragons rising you don't read this because it will make 0 sense. also don't come at me if this fanfic is horrible its my first one and if you find any mistake please point it out I will fix them. there will be !TW! at the top of any chapters that need any. They had been gone for over a month and a half now. -small time skip (2 weeks later)- the ninja were having a nice dinner, talking and all the good stuff, when they heard huge winds and when they went out to check what it was they found the... Nether-Space portal?

Two elemental masters, one does fire and the other is earth. One looks confident and sharp, the other looks tough and strong. Underneath their identities as ninja, lie their hearts that so very seek love. But someone, also seek to change that. Together, they face an elemental master, gone rogue.

My interpretation of what I want Cole and Kai's reunion to be like, except ten times more dramatic. Cole's back, after so long of Cole being gone, he's back, and Kai just has a major panic attack, and Cole doesn't really know what to do, but he finds a way even without meaning to, because it's Cole and Kai Crappy summary, but I'm doing this at one in the morning so my brain's dead, trust me, the second chapter is at least worth it. Art not mine, though I fragging love it so much, and a much more accurate reunion because ninjago creators are lame sometimes
