Reese Morris has been the hero of Stockton City for some time, all the while dealing with the multiple 'memory flashes' he experiences throughout the day. However, these flashes affect his heroics, causing him to be rather sloppy. This brings him into conflict with Bill Haynes, a hero from two cities over who feels Reese is threat. Reese must find out what these flashes mean, and hopes to better himself, with the guidance of a stranger.
