The piece her mother holds is one of the fingers, (the proximal inter-phalangeal joint to the tip of the finger. and the finger is the ring finger) which she had as a necklace. Y/n and her mother were found by the foot clan minions. Y/n managed to escape, but her mother wasn't so lucky, because she was killed right in front of Y/n's eyes. It's only been a day, and the only thing left she has of her mother is the necklace. Then she ran into a strange looking dog. Soon, this 5-year-old child's life will change. (In the series, Y/n will be 5-6, and in the movie, Y/n will be 7)
