Persephone (Persy) Wayland was always a little to hotheaded and rebellious, but because she ignored most people and had good GPA, people sometimes classified her as a nerd. They are completely wrong. And by the way she prefers to term 'Intellectual Badass.' She meets cute guy whom she has been at the same school with for years, but never really talked to. They hit it off as friends, but who knows what will happen? So Persy lives her normal life, cough cough "normal", until a new guy comes to town and unfortunately she knows him. He broke her heart, but that's how she learned to be strong and independent and reached her full potential. And maybe a bit too much arrogance and violence. Two cliche's to choose from: BFF or Jackass. Which one is real, which one brings out the best? Can the friend zone ever be beaten?  ©books_1315

Stereotypes. I hate them. On my first day at my new school, a girl in a blue and white cheerleader's uniform told me I 'looked like a cheerleader' and asked me to come to tryouts. I almost decked her. Blonde hair and blue eyes do not a cheerleader make. Cheerleaders can be bitchy and mean but they can also act all happy and excited and they can drool and swoon over Finn Wallace – the hands-down hottest guy in school – like there's no tomorrow. Me? This is going to be a collection of all of the poetry I have written plus new ones as I write them. This whole collection is dedicated to my love, Aden Grey. You may be gone from this world but you will never be gone from my heart.

I was the 6th-grade "slut." And I kept a diary. So I decided to create The UnSlut Project in the hopes that my own diary entries could provide some perspective to girls who currently feel trapped and ashamed. I am publishing these entries one at a time, without changing a single word except for the names of the people involved. My limited commentary, which is confined to brackets in each entry, is meant to provide the relief of my current perspective, fifteen years later. The UnSlut Project: Working to undo the dangerous slut shaming in our schools, communities, media, and culture by sharing knowledge and experiences.

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. "So...out with the secret." He said calmly but I could sense the curiousity. He looked at me when I didn't answer and raised his eyebrow, hinting me to answer, which made him looked hotter, as if that was possible. "What secret?" I asked. I was irritated. What was in this guy which made him attractive as well as annoying? "Your guy turned out to be a gay?" "No way! Where do you get these theories from?!" I cried in annoyance. "Well Quartza, you don't wanna know the rest." Everything she does is perfect yet she underestimates herself but the thing which makes her slightly dislikeable is her allegery to love. When everything around her is so...lovey-dovey she moves to her Father's place, she expects a better life. Less she knows that here is the turning point of her life. Dylan Castle: Defination of Hot. Extra cockiness, Super hot attitude and confidence taller than Burj-e-Khalifa. Making every girl fall for him, he is searching out for a new target and what is better than a girl who is totally against love? You obviously don't get that type of girls everywhere.
