Adaline Collet, an enigmatic eighteen year old with a tragic past and a drinking problem, is ecstatic to attend college, or at least that is until she gets there and problems start to pile up that are not limited to schoolwork. She gets lucky, or unlucky depending on how you look at it, and winds up with Nicolette "Nikki" Rosario as a roommate. Things quickly heat up between them, but both Adaline and Nikki have their reservations due to their tragic pasts. Will their feelings be enough to overcome their obstacles, or will they be conquered by their demons?
