His life is okay for now. Has a good relationship with Astrid and the other teens. But everything changes when he discovered something secret about his life.

Cole never thought the place he hated most in the world would be where he met the person he cared the most about. That was until he met renowned vlogger Kai when visiting the hospital his mother passed away in. Kai always felt lonely, stranded in the hospital. He loved writing about a faraway world called Ninjago though, which had always been a welcome distraction from his cancer. When he met Cole, it was like life had meaning again. Beautiful things can happen in unlikely places.
