This is my first fanfic but here it goes. Katniss can no longer fight the feeling inside her. The feeling of true pure love for her boy with the bread. When nightmares plague her dreams she knows that he's the only one who can help. See how Katniss and Peeta grow back together in my interpretation of what happened after Peeta planted the primroses.

When the Quarter Quell announces that she will be forced to repeat the Hunger Games again, she finds comfort in the arms of her star crossed lover, the boy she's turned away from, the boy she's grown to love. But when she finds herself pregnant, Katniss can only wonder how she can get both Peeta and their child out alive, Even if it means her own life.

When our eyes met, the memories all came rushing back. From throwing her the bread to saying goodbye at the Lightening Tree to the red plaid dress on the first day of Kindergarten. I remembered it all so much clearer, the shiny memories seemed to fade to so much dimmer terrors. But she's nearly dead. How can I convince her to go on, that life is still worth living. How can I reignite the fire that burns in the eyes of Katniss Everdeen, the girl who was on fire, without getting burned in the process. (My second After Mockingjay story.
