Giyu Tomioka, on the other hand, was a quiet second-year law student at the same university. His reserved nature and respectful demeanor set him apart from the crowd. Mitsuri, a mutual friend of Shinobu and Giyu, playfully challenged Shinobu to make Giyu fall in love with her-a bet Shinobu accepted with unwavering confidence. However, as Shinobu spent time with Giyu, she discovered that he was more than just a logical law enthusiast. Beneath his calm exterior, he was kind, considerate, and surprisingly gentle. The challenge turned into a genuine connection, and Shinobu found herself falling for the quiet student she had initially underestimated.

The Water and Insect Hashiras are off to slay another demon in accordance with their respective roles as slayers. However, this particular threat is like no other; it resides within the depths of an old sewage system. The two slayers must henceforth descend deep within the confines of this eerie setting to face their adversary head-on. Soon after he starts feeling extremely guilty of not being able to protect them like sabito and his sister . However one night after he's fallen asleep , he suddenly wakes up in the past after a mischievous dream. He soon realizes he's in the past and has the chance to save his fellow hashiras and shinobu and more lives . The question is... can he do it ?

Giyuu lay dying on his 25th birthday recounting all the good times he spent with his friends before and after the final battle with the demon king and his servants. Yet, as he takes his last breaths and finally finds solace in the life he's lived, he is mysteriously transported back a whole 8 years in the past. Giyuu will never forget the pain of losing loved ones, he goes on with his life after the final battle...alone. He remembers the good days, wishing that there was someone accompanying him in the last few years he had to live. He misses her, the short butterfly girl that he called annoying, wishing more than ever for her to reappear and tease him, telling him that he was disliked and didn't have any friends. He missed him, the peached haired boy that he called his best friend, he also missed his elder sister more than ever, needing her guidance and advice. Giyuu continued living as a empty shell, devoid of any emotion, hiding his pain. He didn't have a purpose anymore.

This is another GiyuxShinobu story from the 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba' universe. However, this is going to be an AU where all the slayers survive. To do this, I am going to make some major changes to the canon storyline, including adding a tenth hashira.
