Though once at peace their world is now rising in war. The Deamons and Angelo both have mighty kingdoms secluded to their own races, run by monarchy's. And just like every great kingdom. There are always those who wish to see them fall. Skyris is the mountainous region of floating lanshelfs the Angelo call home. Little is known of the lands queen, seen as cold and vicious she strikes fear in those unlucky enough to be caught in her presence. One choice out of a hundred possibilities can change your view and put you in the middle of a dangerous game. A lesson learned too late by one who wanted to change things, but not like this.

I live in a pretty screwed up world. I mean, we all do, but mine's a little more screwed up than your average American city. First off, I have that cliché sort of crush on my best friend. The second part of that cliché is that he's interested in every other girl but me. Second, we have superheroes. A lot of them. Flying everywhere like annoying insects, teleporting like it doesn't scare the crap out of the rest of us, defeating bad guys like they're the new Mr. Incredible. The whole works. The third thing is, I'm one of those superheroes. My name is Kiera Knight, but the rest of the world knows me as Shadow. _________________________ Kiera Knight has been saving Cryptic City from her nemesis, Blaze, for two years now. As soon as she thinks she's got him under control, the wildfire spreads chaos through both of her lives-as Shadow and Kiera. Chaos's arch nemesis is Phantom- the Villain Magazine's #1 of Hottest Villains, and the only person who can take Kelsey's snarky remarks and throw them right back at her. When Phantom tells Chaos that her best friend and co-superhero is in major trouble, Kelsey jumps to help. But in order to fight the major villains, one has to be a major hero, and Chaos is not. She'll need Phantom's help and her brain to both keep Phantom from finding out her true identity, and to keep her and her best friend alive.
