Has your imagination been running wild but your brain just can't get the details on paper? Are your stories lacking just a little something that you can't put your finger on? Do you look up at the professionals and go, "man, what are they doing that I'm not?" Well, have I got the solution for you. This is a series I will be writing for the betterment of the Wattpad community and for writers in general, for all of your questions about how to improve your storytelling. I'm here to break down and analyze every literary element, trope, genre, and bad writing advice for your benefit and explain why they do - or don't - work. Do note that I won't deliver any advice on finding inspiration or motivational speeches for the soul or stuff like that. This will be almost purely analytical. Feel free to make suggestions about what I should talk about in the comments! -Phyre_Phlyght

(This review shop is CLOSED and no longer accepting submissions). I'm not sure what it is, but all the reviewers I see on Wattpad keep on demanding payment for reviews in the form of follows and reads, which is a little strange considering that votes-for-votes aren't allowed...? In any event, If you want someone to review your story and you don't want to be a paid follower to do it, I'm the man. I'll give in-depth, critical reviews highlighting the good, the bad, and the ugly, and hopefully you can get something out of it. I also occasionally yap about media that I have opinions on! Every few reviews, I talk about a book, movie, game, or anything, really. If you want to hear crispy hot takes, this is also the book for you.

According to the trustworthy, perfectly reasonable, and brilliant mind of Athena Concord, the city of Veridian is the absolute worst place on the planet. Definitely the hot take of the century, sure, but she's sticking true to it no matter what. But hot take or no, she has to live there, no matter how loudly or incessantly she's going to complain about it. To say she's frustrated is a tad underexaggerated. Despite Athena's opinions and their obvious veracity, Veridian's at least not boring. Between her insufferable relatives and prickly mother, Athena has another distraction. Her father disappeared in this city - a source of unending agony that keeps her restless - and yet her family has opted to sweep it under the rug. If nothing else, Athena will do anything to find the truth, no matter the cost. But how far is she willing to expose herself to the monsters who took her father away...? (Note: Ashes of Eden is the working name for the series, I'm hoping to find another. If anyone has suggestions, please tell me and I'll see if I can majigger something out of them)
