Follow the adventures they take as they escape their home town and meet new countries. Russia lives in hell. His father couldn't care less about him, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to protect the ones he loves. Russia has always done his best for his siblings. But with his mom gone and his father talking more to empty bottles of vodka then to him, he finds himself taking on more and more each day. And he begins to wonder, how much longer can he take it? I'm bad at descriptions the story is better I swear. TLDR: Russia is a great big brother with a side of angst. Ukraine is a slightly edgy plant boi. Belarus is an absolute bean. Kazakhstan is a good boy and we love him. TRIGGER WARNING: This book contains mentions of abuse, suicide, angst, mentions of self harm, mild swearing, PTSD, and implied death. America has dreamed of the stars for as long as he can remember. Fighting for his dream made be harder then he thought as he fights the race to space with his sworn enemy, the Soviet Union. Hardship, struggle, doubt, and destruction are sure to follow, but can his family and friends be enough for him to finally catch the stars? I'm bad at descriptions sorry. TLDR: America is really into space and has daddy issues, Soviet Union is a jerk, there's lots of wholesome moments and angst, and this is a loose interpretation to the Space Race from history. This is the prequel story and partial conclusion to "We Are a Family" (A USSR FAMFIC). You do not have had to read the original story in order to read this book and can start here if you'd like. The countries settled in a new place. The organizations, specifically UN, has set a goal. They want to fix the countries relationships with each other. Specifically, siblings. Knowing how strained the relations are, the organizations worked together to help the countries realize that they will need each other more than ever. On the way they discover an old friendship that had soon kindled into a fierce hatred. How will they attempt to solve these problems? Why were such strange things happening? Will they find their hidden enemy? Or will their enemy find them? And land the first strike?
