They call her Shei. According to the talks of the people of Samjin, a small village deep in the unexplored forests and mountains of Busan, every night as the clock strikes twelve, a beautiful young girl would appear at a small hut by an abandoned lake. She comes out of nowhere, appearing and disappearing out of thin air. They say she's a spirit, a girl killed by the evil hands of her birth father, thus seeking vengeance for her death. Some say she's a lonely soul, unaccepted by the earth for her sins and now roams the village she used to live in. But one thing is for sure; no one knows her real story. Michael Valle, a young American journalist becomes intrigued by the infamous Samjin Legend. Just like many others before him. He decides to see it for himself, seeing no harm in doing so especially since it would help with his career. His curiosity leads him on a flight to Busan, South Korea with a fellow journalist and he soon learns that the legend is deeper than it seems. [Cover made by the lovely @amotione]
