In this story Hiei is the grandson of Fire Lord Zuko and son of Izumi who is the new Fire Lord and his father was also an Airbender besides Avatar Aang. The day Hiei was born he had the Firebender spark in his eyes, much like his older brother Iroh. Hiei and Iroh would go onto train in Firebending by their grandfather Zuko.
