[EDIT: THERE IS A REWRITTEN/REVISED VERSION OF THIS FANFIC ON MY ACCOUNT! BE SURE TO CHECK THAT OUT TOO!] Patrick Stump has recently transferred to yet another new high school as his father continues to search for work. Due to loss of a family member back when he was very young, Patrick had become mute and hardly spoke for himself, thus causing a lack of friendship and a social life. At this school it affects him greatly as he faces the vulgar lashes of many people. But then Patrick meets Pete Wentz, an extremely well-known socialite with a rough attitude. But underneath those layers of being socially aware, Pete is also very caring, this demeanor masked by his popularity. Upon the first day of meeting Patrick, Pete immediately sets his mind on urging him out of his cracking shell, and perhaps being flanked by deeper emotion held for the silent, short boy. edit (10/31/2020): please note that i wrote this in SIXTH GRADE!!! as of rn i am a senior in high school lmao so i apologize bc this fic is rlly uh...full of not-so-great writing and me not understanding how shit works

(Book 3 of the Procrastinators Series, set in September 2014 -but can be read independently from the series-) "Relationships end. Relationships end in three ways: you split up, one of you dies, or you get married. There's a two out of three chance that it won't end well. It's not exactly encouraging." - Jamie Gail hates relationships in real life. Relationships in literature and film, that she can deal with, but risking such a real life rejection? No, that's not on her agenda. So when Jamie moves back to London to partake in the audition process to become Elphaba in the theatre production of Wicked thanks to the prompts of Jamie's childhood friend Carrie Fletcher, why is it that Jamie tries to attempt real life shipping to get her new flatmate together with the girl he's been pining over for a year? Not to mention that the girl he's forbidden to love is already in a relationship of her own, or that this flatmate practically hates Jamie. Breaking up other relationships and putting them back together in a different alignment with new people isn't meant to be done, but that doesn't mean it's impossible. And besides, who likes seeing people unhappy? *** Ansel Adams, or Ance as those he knows tend to call him, is a bad man though he didn't consider that to be his fault. His father had been a bad man, his grandfather had been a bad man--hell as far as Ance knew he came from a long line of men were just a bitten rotten down at their core. Everyone that knew Ance knew he was a man who would never change, never give up his lifestyle, never settle down....Until Penelope Reynolds came sobbing into his life. Ance hadn't given much thought to offering this rich man protection as he took a load of stolen goods to market until he realized that the banging sound coming from the crate was a tiny little blond with pigtails, freckles and a bad leg. Suddenly he's struck with a choice. Save the girl and return her to her family or simply let life do what life does and chalk it up to bad luck for little Penelope--in the past the latter choice would have been easy, but not now. *** Audrey Reynolds had never been so afraid in her life. Her daughter has been stolen. Her daughter is all she has left in the world since the murder of her husband five years earlier. Desperate to find Penelope, Audrey enlists the help of U.S. Marshall Rodger York who also happens to be the man who's been trying to marry her since the day after her husband had been placed under the ground. They embark on a journey to find Penelope and Rodger has vowed to kill whoever took the girl away. But things go wrong and Audrey learns that the very man she went to for help might be the man responsible for every bad thing that's happened in the last five years...... Will Audrey find a way to survive but more importantly will she ever see her daughter alive again?
