Lilly stays with him for a while, still in fear of her stepfather. What happens if he finds her? She's living in a cage of constant fear and has no faith in the world whatsoever. Thomas slowly helps her to gain her trust in the world again and to free herself from her cage full of misery. But he will always be lurking from the shadows.
