When you live in a small town of only sixteen-thousand, it is usual for people to be interested when a new family move into town; but not as interested as they were about the Hamptons. It wasn’t the energetic father or the mousy mother or the sporty son or the happy-go-lucky daughter that everyone was interested in. It was the girl who arrived two days late to the start of the year, two weeks later than the rest of the family, and two million leagues ahead of everyone around her.

Ever wondered what would happen if you wake up one morning and don't find anybody in the world? The universe wasn't so grateful to me and so to add to my misery I wasn't left alone but with that one person I despised the most. Was it some kind of a game? Should I be waiting for my friends to jump out of thin air and tell me it was all one big joke? The thing is, All this was too real to be a game. What should I do now? "I wouldn't like you even if you were the last person on earth." Those were my words yesterday in the crowded cafeteria but I wasn't really expecting myself to be left alone in the world with him.
