Mar'i Grayson had a plan. Get her associate's degree from Atlantic-Cape Community College, graduate debt-free, transfer to Gotham University for her bachelor's, live with her grandfather to save on room and board. Maybe get to know him a little better, since he and her father were kind of estranged from each other. Behave herself to keep her father happy while she was away from home. Not much was supposed to change. She never expected to discover the secret her grandfather was keeping from her since before she was born, find out that his juvy-rescue assistant was helping him keep it, and get thrown into the fray herself. Besides, it wasn't exactly like she was a stranger to secrets, herself.
