In the fractured empire of Pangea, peace is theater and every alliance is a performance. America, the Britannia Pact's most charming diplomat by day and deadliest assassin by night, lives behind a mask so convincing even he forgets what's underneath. Russia, shipped off to study under Soviet, was shaped into a weapon - cold, dutiful, and watched from every angle. When a failed assassination forces their worlds to collide, a slow, dangerous waltz begins. With war buried under whispered treaties and knives ready to stab your back, neither knows if the other is a partner or a target. But one thing is certain: sooner or later, even the best performances begin to crack. - This is a very loosely based Romeo and Juliet au that centers around RusAme. This fic is rated mature for the following reasons: - Graphic violence. - Murder. - Trauma. - Drinking. - Implied sexual intercourse. If any of these make you uncomfortable, then it's ok to not read this story. Your mental well being always takes precedence C:

This story isn't meant to glorify war, imperialism, Hindu or Muslim extremism, nor is it meant to change your perspective on history (Disclaimer ; This book contains dark topics), - The air over Agra hung heavy with the breath of a thousand fires. From the marble terraces of the fort, the city unfolded like a tapestry of red dust and sullen silence, where life had neither halted nor resumed-merely bent in waiting. The Yamuna river slithered below, indifferent as ever. There, beneath the last hush of dusk, stood the Emperor. Not yet fully Emperor in formality, but in essence, he was more than any coronation could make him. - (Might not be fully historically accurate-- also took some liberties for the CH aspect of the story... also it only covers the reign of Aurangzeb. The other Mughal Emperors reign might get their own book someday)

The world is electrified. Everything runs on electricity, from lighting to transport, life support to social media. Oblivion. Then, grid is down. And the world turns dark. And doesn't turn back on. America, the most forward thinking and innovative Western idealist, has answers. Her feminist values push her neck to neck with her male peers. She is one of the first to figure out that the grid will eventually fail, because of the vein of fossil fuel instability, trying to raise the alarm. When the grid does fail, she doesn't even get the satisfaction to say 'I told you so' before she is forced to collaborate in the TROIKA - a trio of biologist, engineer, and geophysicist that must find an immediate and then long-term solution to power the earth. Oh, and she has no choice. USSR, a cynic planner and injured war veteran, has questions. Torn between his eastern roots and western intelligence, he struggles to fit in, curb his aggression, and deal with personal loss. Instead of notifying the world of the impending grid failure, he builds a vast arsenal nuclear plants to power his land against the rules, and when the grid falls, his lights and machines keep running. When finally his arrest occurs, he finds himself in a unique situation, offered a position in the TROIKA - but if he declines, then a life of darkness behind bars awaits him. The goal of the TROIKA is simple: Be quick, be correct, be ready. It doesn't take long for USSR and America to loathe each other on principle, each with their own goals and ideals, clashing on everything from fashion to economics. Can they push away their pride and save the world, maybe even themselves? Or will their bitterness engulf everyone in thick, oily darkness forever? A single choice will ultimately decide their fate. TROIKA: The Future is Nuclear. The Future is Unclear. NOT for sensitive readers, please do not read if you cannot handle violence, loss, terminate disease or mature content - 16+ Thanks!

Russia's life changed forever when he was twelve. Not when he lost his mother or started puberty, but the night he was attacked by a man who wasn't entirely human. The aftermath left him with heightened senses, an insatiable thirst for blood, and fangs he never asked for. He hated the one who did this to him, who turned him into a fanged freak, but not as much as he hated himself. For five years, Russia has survived on blood bags, chocolate, and the occasional animal, all while suppressing his instincts and the monster lurking beneath. The fragile balance shatters when a new kid named America sits next to him in first period. America's scent is maddening, and his relentless attempts at friendship are even worse. But the biggest problem is that Russia can't let him get close--not when the darkness inside is always one slip away from taking control. America's life has never been normal, because his normal was hunting the abnormal. Raised in a family of vampire hunters, he was trained to track and kill the creatures in small, suspicious towns. But after a close call that almost cost his mother her life, America's family called it quits. No more hunts. They moved to a quiet town to settle down. At least, that was the plan. When a young girl is found brutally murdered, her neck torn and her body drained of blood, America's family prepares for one last hunt. Meanwhile, Russia's family accuses him of the crime and exiles him, claiming he broke the one rule: Don't kill for blood. But Russia didn't do it. Forced to work together to clear his name, America and Russia find themselves tangled in a web of lies, hunger, and danger. How does Russia react when he learns his new friend is a vampire killer? How does America handle helping the very thing he's been trained to kill? And, of course, can they ultimately find it in themselves to stow their shit and focus on the real threat?

𝐒𝐀𝐔𝐃𝐀𝐃𝐄 (n): The love that remains ❛ Stitches undone / Two graves, one gun. ❜ In a world where relations are fickle and trust is tentative, America's world is flipped on its edge when one of his friends build a flourishing friendship with someone he would've never imagined trusting - someone from a social circle he tends to avoid with all his might. As he becomes dead set on unraveling the truth behind his rival's suspicious actions, a much larger problem begins to rear it's ugly head, a problem that strays way beyond the boundaries of their childish bickering. One that speaks of rewritten history, a reality hidden from them since their beginnings. When Russia, China, and their friends enter the fray, presenting to the table a hasty alliance that could threaten everything they've ever known, America and his allies have to make a choice: live through a rose-colored tint, or accept their offer and venture off into a journey that shows just how real the problems of society are. For if they don't fight to make it past the haze and into clarity, nothing will ever change - for them, and for everyone else. The balance of fragile peace to total war is delicate. It's fabricated. And it will inevitably be shattered. ━━━ Written by Yuna est.2024 Heavy topics. Slow burn. Fluff, crack, angst, alcohol, and history.

For as long as they could remember, humans could see a celestial castle in the sky when the days were shining bright and clear. "That's where the angels live," the adults would tell the children who gazed upon it. "If you meet one, they will grant you your greatest wish." As time went by, the stories were washed away and people no longer paid attention to the castle. Soon, it was never to be seen again. That was the case until the night that everything changed. Propelled by the hands of fate, a legendary angel is thrown into the world below and forced into the Present, where he struggles to understand his place. With the aid of some unlikely companions, he traverses the realms to challenge his Past and make amends for a brighter tomorrow, but little do they know, a devastating Future has already been set in stone; one where nothing shall remain unless they declare fate dead. The countdown begins without warning as the world moves into place. With the pieces of the game set, it is up to the angel to make the final move. "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:4) !
