Gabriella is in the world of firsts. Most things she does is for the first time because every other time it's the same thing over and over again. It could be from the OCD or Anxiety, it could be something else. But when she meets a bright eyed Russian boy in the city for the first time she lets down her walls. Her usually sheltered and cautious life is left behind for adventures and dreams. Artemi goes to Chicago for hockey but he finds so much more. He finds someone who's intelligence is unmatched and beauty is uncomparable. And although she is shy and intimidating he finds every excuse to break her out of her shell and become the girl she never thought she could be.

Two kids travel to Chicago to continue their paths. One 23 year old travels from Russia to make his mark in the NHL. The other is 22 from Southern Illinois who looks to help those around her. She helps him live up to his potential and he helps her see what everyone else sees in her. Together they take not only the Blackhawks but the city of Chicago by storm. This is a story of not only finding love but finding yourself.

"Let's make a deal. If you can beat me in a game of pond hockey, then I'll leave the rink all to you." He smirked. "What do you get if you win?" She asked, waiting for the catch. "A kiss."

When Brooke Lemieux started her new Job as the Physical Therapist for the Pittsburgh Penguins, an NHL hockey Team, she would have never guessed that she would find such great friends in the Team, and that one Player would make butterflies appear in her stomach - Team Captain Sidney Crosby. Do they even have a chance together? After all, hockey is the most important thing in Sid's life, and Brooke could be a negative distraction for their goal to win the Stanley Cup again.
