Minęło pięć lat odkąd Hope opuściła Naród Ognia i wybrała własną drogę. Odnalazła harmonię, nauczyła się żyć jako prawdziwa Bezimienna i zyskała spokój w herbaciarni wuja Iroh w Królestwie Ziemi. Choć z daleka obserwowała losy przyjaciół, unikała powrotu - zwłaszcza spotkania z Zuko. Teraz jednak zbliża się rocznica zakończenia Wojny Stuletniej, a Hope nie może dłużej uciekać. Wraca do pałacu, by wreszcie zmierzyć się z przeszłością i odnaleźć swoje miejsce w świecie, który się zmienił. Ale dawne cienie nie pozwalają o sobie zapomnieć. Kiedy nad Narodem Ognia zaczyna gromadzić się burza, Hope staje przed najtrudniejszymi wyborami w życiu.
