After a man is brutally attacked in his cabin by an unknown figure, a cowboy named Phillin. B. Sireal is hired by the man's wife to find the culprit and embarks on a journey to track down and bring the criminal to justice; for a price, of course. He collects some people, steals some horses, and rides off into the dusk for an adventure. Unbeknownst to him, however, his actions would lead him down a dark road of ruined lives, backstabbing families, the very unnatural phenomenon, and probably even the devil himself...
