Emma Swan and Killian Jones are finally getting their chance to be a real family. After two years with no deaths or villains in Storybrooke, they decide it's time to let their walls down and settle down together. However, when a tragedy strikes on the eve of their wedding, leaving a family member dead, will their relationship be able to withstand the strain? When a new (and old) arrival shows up in Storybrooke, threatening a lot more than just Emma and Killian's relationship, they need each other to find the courage to find out what really happened the night someone they loved was taken from them.

Once their friendship becomes a bit more, however, things start getting complicated. Colin, father and husband, feels an unbreakable connection to Jen. "Hey mom, it's 12:00 a.am. Why are you calling me?" I ask, voice raspy, sitting up in bed. "Celtic Thunder is touring again, and they are auditioning for a new background singer! They just posted it on their website. Ailey, this is your chance. They are auditioning girls in West Roxbury, and that's only a half-hour away from you." My mom says happily....Mom likes this Celtic singing group, and has wanted me to audition if the chance ever came up...She constantly stalks the website. I don't really care for Celtic thunder, but I'll audition for my mom. What harm could it do? I know my voice sucks too much to get in the group, anyway. Seven weeks later, I am stuck backstage with a bunch of immature Irish guys who are demanding that I play Swordball with them-a game using a soccer ball, and dollar store styrofoam swords. They tell me it was a gift from God that Swordball exsists, even though i can tell they made it up one day, because they were bored on the tour bus, or something. This is going to be a very long tour.

***Takes place one month after Winter Mid-Season finale *** Emma Swan has tried to find him. She has tried to bring him back to her. She has tried desperately to get over him. But she has failed. With a new plan, Emma tries one more time to find her beloved Killian, this time willing to risk it all. When her plan backfires, though Emma has to work with new allies and fight old enemies to try to get Storybrooke back and finally get her happy ending, even when the odds are stacked against her.
