Dror is just a simple Worker Drone yet he somehow grabs the attention of a certain company-obsessed Murder Drone and becomes something of a pet project. It's either that or instant death, so he can't really complain. Commissioned cover art by Sakaruchibi (If you ask for a new chapter, I'll delay posting it when it gets finished)

Duty is heavier than a mountain; death is lighter than a feather. Dispossessed and dishonored, former Draconis Combine MechWarrior Takari Tanida is forced to fight in the Mech-gladiator arenas of Solaris VII. He needs to make it big so that he can return home and kill his father and brother. It is the only way Takari can avenge his uncle, restore his honor, and find peace in death. ------ This is a sci-fi short story I wrote a couple of years ago. It's set in the Battletech universe, thus technically making it fan-faction, but all characters and events are unique to the story. It also exists as an audiobook generated using Amazon Polly. It sounds surprisingly good for text-to-speech. PM me if you're interested :-) Felix

The Cosmic Era is a powder keg of genetic hatred. As the Atlantic Federation and the PLANTs spiral toward a second bloody war, the line between Natural and Coordinator has become a death sentence. But within the elite ranks of the ZAFT military, a shadow moves-a pilot who shouldn't exist. Toru Yoshino is known to his peers in the PLANTs as a reserved, brilliant mobile suit technician and a "Red Coat" elite pilot. But Toru harbors a secret that defies the science of genetic engineering: he is the reincarnation of Amuro Ray, the legendary "White Devil" of the Universal Century. Toru retains every fragmented memory of his past life-the screams of the One Year War, the chilling tactical genius of the Gryps Conflict, and the final, world-shaking heat of the Axis Shock. However, he is not alone in his mind. Haunted by the spiritual echoes of Char Aznable, Toru is guided-and provoked-by the phantom of his greatest rival, whose voice whispers cynical truths about the cyclical nature of human war. When Toru is assigned to the clandestine mission to Heliopolis to seize the Earth Alliance's "G-Project" prototypes, his past and present collide. His emergence changes the course of the war. Toru finds himself in the impossible position of a ZAFT soldier who cannot ignore the soul of a young, terrified Coordinator named Kira Yamato. As he attempts to mentor Kira in the ways of the battlefield, Toru comes face-to-face with Rau Le Creuset. To the rest of the world, Rau is a brilliant, masked commander; to Toru, he is a pale, desperate imitation of the man currently haunting his subconscious. The war is no longer a simple struggle of DNA. It is a clash between the weary wisdom of a seasoned hero and the reckless technology of a new age. As the "White Devil" rises again in a machine that defies modern logic, the Cosmic Era will learn that the power of a Newtype cannot be engineered-it must be earned. **This is not a harem book**

Copper-9, an exoplanet with minerals to mine and a cheap, easy-to-make work force to mine them: Worker Drones. With Worker Drones comes Disassembly Drones, their "natural" predators. Sent from beyond to slaughter all of the cowardly workers who hide in bunkers for fear of death. Except Mallory. The bastard only stays inside to sleep all day in a nice warm bed and gives lip to anyone that wakes him up. So when a surprisingly short Murder Drone waltzes right into the bunker, panic ensues, and panic makes noise, and noise tends to wake people up. == Story of a sleepy eepy guy who wishes to his sleep paralysis demon that people would leave him the [BEEP] alone. But where's a good story where everything goes the way someone wants? Got the idea from some art randomly and thought, " Ay, that's pretty good."

In the world of Gunpla Battle, "Magic Particles" are the new law. The elite pilots of the Gundam Academy dominate the circuit with high-output machines, using Trans-Am bursts and "super-modes" as a shortcut to victory. To the world, it's a spectacle of light. To Zeke Sato, it's a betrayal of the craft. Born in the shadow of Hamburg's precision workshops and mentored by the legendary Julian Mackenzie, Zeke doesn't believe in "cheat codes." He believes in the "Manual Spirit"-the invisible bond between a builder and the structural integrity of their plastic. While his rivals buy their way to the top, Zeke hauls a battered, modular RX-121 [Hazel] through the mud of regional qualifiers, proving that a reinforced frame and a steady hand can outlast any particle gimmick. But the road to the 13th National Tournament is paved with ghosts. Standing in his way is the Zen-like brilliance of Hazuki Ren and his peerless Hi-Nu Gundam, a pilot whose "Total Balance" philosophy challenges everything Zeke knows about mechanical grit. As the damage level hits Rank A, Zeke must decide: will he abandon his technical roots to match the "00-Meta," or can a "relic" of the Universal Century truly dismantle the gods of the modern era? The battle isn't won in the arena. It's won at the workbench.
