Neither of them expect to find a home in Rocky, nor for their bond with him to bring them closer. As they learn more about themselves, their mission, and how they lost their memories, they quickly realize that neither of them are equipped to deal with the growing comfort they find in each other. Rocky decides he's done watching them dance around it and takes matters into his own very exasperated hands. A Project Hail Mary fanfiction that takes place after Grace meets Rocky. This story is mostly canon compliant with a few minor deviations explained through flashbacks on Earth.
