Based on the ending of issue #134 of the archie Sonic comic series. After a serious argument left Sally broken-hearted and furious with his boyfriend Sonic, they both decide to let time settle things and then carry on by themselves. However, Sally can't help recalling the wonderful times they had together, despite the fact that now Sonic and Amy had been dating for half a month and she had found love with Monkey-khan. Story inspired by the song "Cool" by Gwen Stefani. i hope you enjoy it.

One full year of peace has been kind to Sonic, Sally and all of Mobius. The Acorn Kingdom has named it's newest king, the son of Maximillian; King Elias of Acorn, elder brother of Sally. But over the course of the year, an evil plot has been planned behind the scenes. The reinstatement of an old enemy, resurrected to carry out the plan of the newly formed Iron Dominion. Ixis Naugus, now back for vengeance, will destroy anything in his way of humiliating the one person who put him in his frozen prison, and stealing the throne from under his feet; Elias Acorn. How will the Freedom Fighters save their kingdom and all of Mobius from their strongest enemy yet? Friends, will become enemies. Loyalty, will become treachery. (Loosely based on the Iron Dominion Arc and Secret Freedom Fighter Arc of the acclaimed Archie Comics series.)

That's a story inspired by TheBlox's Taismo - City of The Dead comics. If you are reading this, TheBlox, I congratulate you on seeing it because it inspired me to write this story. So we all know that Sally Acorn was in the comics and some TV shows, right? After a while, Sega just forgot about her, but Sonic did not. Sonic's grief and regret of saving Sally made him regret breaking up with her. After like ten years, Sonic went to the last place he and Sally kissed for the last time. It was in Green Hills under a small palm tree where there was a small carving Sally carved for herself and Sonic. Then Death came and explained how he could bring Sally back, but under those conditions, he kept Sally alive for a whole week or a month since he grieved more than his best friend. He must make sure he survives and escapes the forgotten. It would be more challenging and complex, but Sonic would do it only to reunite with his love. Would the great hero survive this chaos, or would he lose Sally to those greedy freaks? [Warning! The story contains mature themes such as strong language, violence, blood, sexuality, etc.]

This is mainly the original comics in story format, but with one character's early off panel choice from before the comics started changing how and where he acts for the entire story. Follow the freedom fighters and their mysterious ally as they fight the insidious Dr. Robotnik and his forces. "YOU TRAITOR!" "How can I be a traitor when I never allied myself with you in the first place, Julian?" *Warning* Not all Cannon characters will act Cannon in this AU due to choice made by character mentioned above. Figure it out before I reveal it and I'll mention you and your oc in a later chapter maybe. :P *Warning* Some characters will also use curse words as they get older in story, but maybe not. We'll see how they go. Some will also be traumatized and might undergo some trauma while in story, you have been warned.
