Jack Abbott has seen it all - war zones, trauma bays, and nights so dark they feel endless. A grizzled combat veteran turned ER attending, he thrives on control, precision, and keeping everyone at a safe distance... including the residents he mentors. Lucy Calloway is impossible to ignore. Third-year resident, relentless optimist, and full of warmth that feels almost dangerous in the chaos of the ER. She laughs in the face of exhaustion, treats patients like family, and has a way of cutting through the walls Jack has built around himself. When night shifts collide and the adrenaline of emergencies turns into stolen glances and small, unguarded moments, Jack and Lucy find themselves navigating a battlefield far more personal than anything they've faced before. Grumpy veteran × bubbly resident. Trauma, tension, and a love that might just save them both.

Dr. Emilia Reyes is the sweet one in Pediatric Emergency, the doctor who crouches to eye level, who hands out stickers after sutures, who lowers her voice when the monitors start screaming and the world feels too big for the child in the bed. People underestimate her because of that. They see kindness and mistake it for weakness. They see patience and assume she will yield. Dr. Jack Abbot doesn't. An Emergency Medicine attending known for brutal competence and razor-sharp restraint, Abbot thrives in chaos. He does not soften the truth. He does not dilute hard decisions. And he does not step back when the room gets loud. When disaster forces him into her department, their collision is not subtle. He questions her restraint. She questions his ruthlessness. He pushes. She pushes back harder. Because beneath the calm pediatrician is steel, controlled and deliberate and more than capable of meeting him blow for blow. Abbot is simply the first man reckless enough to test it. In a hospital where resources run thin and not every life makes it home, Emilia has mastered composure. She has learned how to carry grief quietly, how to hold steady when everything fractures. What she has never learned is how to stand unmoved when someone sees straight through her. In an Emergency Department built on control, the most dangerous thing is not chaos. It is the moment you stop pretending you are immune to it. And some fires do not ask permission before they burn.

Based on the drama "The Pitt" on Max. Dr. Anastasia "Stassi" Kalon has her sights set on becoming one of the nation's top emergency medicine specialists. She earns a spot in the fellowship program at Pittsburgh Medical Trauma Center, a bustling and highly competitive hospital affectionately nicknamed "The Pitt." Determined to prove herself in this high-stakes environment, Stassi is prepared for anythings-except Dr. Michael "Robby" Rabinavitch. From the moment they meet, Stassi and Robby clash over everything-from patient care strategies to navigating the politics of the trauma center. Their fiery debates become legendary in the ER, but beneath the tension lies a growing respect for one another's skills and dedication. As Stassi confronts the physical and emotional toll of working at The Pitt, Robby becomes both her biggest challenge and her greatest support. Together, they face life-or-death decisions, hospital power struggles, and the personal sacrifices required to save lives. As their professional rivalry gives way to a deeper connection, Stassi and Robby must decide if they can overcome their differences to build something lasting-both in the trauma bay and in their hearts.

The ED never sleeps, and neither do its doctors. Spencer Reeves is no stranger to late-night crises, but when Jack Abbot breezes into her life, her carefully structured world is thrown into chaos. Banter turns to tension, tension to unspoken attraction, and attraction becomes impossible to ignore. Through high-stakes trauma nights, awkward public encounters, and near-disasters, Spencer and Jack must navigate the fine line between saving lives and risking their hearts. **This is a slow burn/angsty romance. I'm going to try and kill all of us with their flirting and banter. I only own my storyline and characters, the rest belongs to HBO** Author note: I am currently a student so please be kind when it comes to updates! I'm just a girl trying to balance a degree and her favorite pass time (men over forty)

Camryn Wells wasn't trying to rebuild her life so much as outrun the version of it that nearly destroyed her. After a year and a half off the grid, nursing wounds no one could see and some that still ached like hell, she's back in Pittsburgh. Sort of. She's here for Gwen, the woman who adopted her, who's now fading into early-onset dementia. She's on night shift, working trauma at PTMC, trying to remember the nurse she used to be-and to convince her small army of overprotective siblings that she's fine now. That she's not the broken girl they saw in that hospital bed in Boston. Camryn is sunshine incarnate: bright-eyed, too kind, stubbornly hopeful, and despite everything, still believes in second chances. What she didn't plan on? Her new next-door neighbor just happens to be the gruff, quiet, unflinchingly calm ED attending who runs her shift with surgical precision... and dry quips that cut sharper than a scalpel. Dr. Jack Abbot doesn't do distractions. Not from interns. Not from administration. And definitely not from the impossibly cheerful nurse who crash-landed into his backyard and, somehow, into his life. Guarded, fiercely competent, and more at ease in chaos than comfort, Jack prefers solitude-until Camryn. With her pastel mugs, man-hating cat, and maddening habit of calling him out with a smile, she worms her way into every corner of his neatly boxed-off world. She's not what he expected. And he's exactly what she wasn't ready for. But on the night shift, where everything broken comes through the door eventually, maybe they'll both learn healing doesn't always look like what you thought.

"𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐦𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐞, '𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭'𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫." - The 1975 Indigo Montgomery always enjoyed helping others. It was her specialty. Having grown up in Kent, south-east of England, and studied emergency medicine at King's College London, she knew her stuff. For two years after getting her doctorate, she continued her work in King's College Hospital, switching from the Paediatric ward to A&E. She had specifically studied emergency medicine, but she enjoyed working with children. In her third year of work, Indigo and a few of her colleagues were all transferred to a hospital in America, to get a taste of medicine within a foreign environment. This changed the way Indigo looked at medicine for life. She remained in America when all of her colleagues moved back after three months, moving into a comfortable house in Pittsburgh, and getting a job in the Emergency Room of Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.
