The Napoleonic Wars have kept Captain Luke Cassidy away from home, and away from his wife and son, for three years. There was nothing more in his life that Luke wanted than to see his son for the first time. There was nothing more in his life that Luke wanted than to reunite with his family after three long years apart. But just as Britain can begin celebrating victory, Luke suffers an injury at the hands of the French that will change his life, and the life of his family, forever. Can a marriage between two people that have spent more time apart than together survive such a test? Or will Luke and Isabella succumb to the obstacles in their way? Not everything is as it seems.

Edmund Westworth (26), the third Earl of Beaumont, and the most eligible bachelor in London, unknowingly started a tradition he now regrets. At age twenty-two he danced the first dance at the season opening ball at Almack's with a young lady who became the toast of the season. The next year he did the same. Every year since, he has danced one dance, to fulfill his mother's requirement. And every year his dance partner becomes the most sought after girl of the season. Some think he has a gift, Edmund thinks he could pick any girl and 'the ton' would deem her desirable based on his dance alone. His friends disagree and bet him 100£ to choose a dance partner who couldn't possibly entice the gentlemen of London. When her father suddenly passes away, Elizabeth Cavendish (20) has to move in with her aunt's family. With the estate entailed, Elizabeth needs to find a husband quickly or her aunt will install her into a governess or lady's companion position, which would severely hinder Beth's ability to work on her scientific experiments. Garbed in her cousin's horrific dresses from last season, she only has a few weeks to find a husband before she is doomed to tedious work for the rest of her life. She finds an unlikely accomplice in the Earl of Beaumont. Please don't copy any part of my story in any form (including Youtube) without my permission. Elizbeth Anne Humphrey wants a husband. Her expectations are not outlandish; all she asks is that he be reasonably handsome, reasonably wealthy and completely kind. Her brothers have offered their assistance, and it's given her hope that perhaps there is a man out there who might want her for a wife. But alas, the first man she meets after recommitting to the battle against spinsterhood is reasonably handsome, reasonably naked and completely soaked through and stranded on their front steps. He also has a head-wound and no memory of who he is, but Elizabeth Humphrey has larger mysteries to solve; namely, the mystery of who she might marry. It has been ten years since Amelia was adopted by Lord and Lady Baldwin, and publicly recognized as a member of the Nobility. Now it is time for her to step out into high society and be recognized as something completely different- a debutante. A young woman now eligible for marriage. Amelia has never quite fit into the world of high-society. Having been born into poverty and adopted as a child, it has always seemed to her that she is the black sheep of the bunch. 'Ladylike' has never been a word that she would use to describe herself. She has never viewed herself as the marriageable-type, and has never found herself to care much for the idea of courtships. And yet, in the tangles of 19th Century London, a young lady has no choice. After all, Amelia's elder sister- the perfect daughter, with golden curls and a flawless face- has already secured an Earl to court. The two of them do not care much for each other, but love is not what matters. It is all about status and tradition. But in a world where it is unheard of for a woman to marry for love, Amelia soon discovers that her own happily ever after may not be as impossible as she though. But why is it the Earl's eyes that keep drawing Amelia in? And what if the rules surrounding the strict and formal courtships are rules that Amelia simply does not want to follow? After all, she has never been much of a Lady. ***Stand-alone sequel to Pauper Princess- though suggested, you do not have to read the first book to understand this one***

Lord Marshall Sutherland wanted a wife. He had also known exactly who he wanted as his wife for precisely a year. Unfortunately, Miss I.P. Bright was a pseudonym and locating the woman of his dreams had taken a considerable amount of time, effort and money on his part. He had spent the better part of his time last year at the blasted London Season only to discover that it was apparent Miss I.P. Bright - whoever she was- did not run in the same circles as him. It had been an irksome and trying experience because now every débutante and her mama thought that he sought a wife, any wife. But that wasn't the case. He was hunting for a particular woman and no other woman would do. Marshall was a man of definable tastes and once he knew what he wanted, he generally got it. Miss Imogen Brightmore did not want a husband, especially one the likes of Lord Marshall Sutherland, who boorishly and chauvinistically opposed her anonymously published articles. So when a handsome, intelligent and agreeable country gentleman comes to town, Imogen finds herself surprisingly attracted to him and little does she suspect that he harbors a secret that could ruin their blossoming courtship.

"The Riley twins were born in the spring of 1797 during a ferocious storm that battered the Salisbury Plain for three days together. Isabel entered the world with a flash of lightning, her shrieking drowned out by a grand clap of thunder. Thirteen minutes later the storm abated, clouds parted, and Miranda was handed to her father, blinking in rays of sun that poured through the window." Isabel loves the comfort of home and the company of her family and few close friends. She doesn't care for the drama of the season or dream of gothic adventures as her sister does. She is wild and carefree in her own right, mischievous if need be, and the fun she has with her sister and closest friend is enough to satisfy her fancies. If only life took pleasure in forcing adventure on those who wished for it, instead of those who did not. Miranda is a playful romantic, she looks forward to her first season with a desperation which rivals that of a starving man on his way to a feast. She can't wait to dress in beautiful gowns and dance the nights away with the height of the Ton. More than anything, she dreams of finding her prince charming and falling in love; but love is a game, and some play it far too well. What readers are saying: "What a wonderful read!! Despite living thirty miles from London, Anabelle Latimer knows her chances of finding a husband in their sleepy village are as thin as cook's white soup. Then she discovers a kindred spirit in Mr. Fielding, the intelligent and handsome new steward from Blackwood Hall. It was a great shame that his position in life was so below her own, for he was exactly the sort of man she would have wished to marry. Anthony Fielding, tired of being the target of the ton's marriage-minded mothers, hopes to spend a relaxing week shooting and fishing in the country. Yet upon his arrival at Blackwood Hall he discovers an estate in chaos, and a friend in desperate need of help. He is quick to offer his knowledge and expertise, unaware that his generosity will have unexpected repercussions. The Steward of Blackwell Hall is a traditional Regency romance of approximately 66,000 words.

{WATTY'S 2020 WINNER & EDITOR'S PICK.} Hopeless romantic and aspiring writer Mare Atwood has fallen madly in love with her childhood correspondent. There's only one catch-she doesn't know who he is. When the beaus of Star's Crossing return from boarding school to begin the courting season, Mare is determined to uncover the identity of her writer, flout her family's intentions of orchestrating an advantageous marriage, and procure the life of writing and romance she's always sought. But as in the tales she so adores, it won't be easy. Galas, masquerades, picnics, and hunts-alongside an old friend, a former teacher, and an unlikely ally, Mare delves into an investigation that leaves her torn between three clever, deceptive, and wealthy young bachelors. If Mare can confirm which is her writer and claim his hand before the courting season ends, she'll have her wish: the love of her life, a valuable marriage, and a future of writing romance. But with the eyes of Star's Crossing upon her, a business plot forcing invisible hands, and the unwillingness of her writer to come forward-Mare's future may not end in triumph, but tragedy.
