However, with little money and no job, it looks like her trip will be over almost as soon as it starts. Enter Bill Cipher, the charming, enigmatic stranger who offers to help her pay for the trip-and avoid summertime stress and boredom-in exchange for giving him a ride east. However, thanks to his penchant for mischief and secrets, traveling with him proves to be riskier than it first seems, both for the reader's patience-and her heart. Rated PG-13 for some violence, alcohol usage, and mentions of sex. Updates every Sunday unless otherwise noted.
