Written for SakuAtsu Week 2021 with prompts set by @sktsweek on Twitter Day 6: "Tell me again." "Atsumu was blind, and Osamu was gone forever. Moving on wasn't such a simple thing like they made it in the movies. You can't just expect all your memories to subside so easily, can't just move away from some suburban town and expect love to cancel out your grief, and you couldn't expect some grace-saving therapist to have the answers to all your questions." They didn't do anything wrong. They stayed sober that night, they kept their phones away while driving, and everything was supposed to be happy, a celebration of their winning match. And yet, fate had stolen all of it away. Atsumu doesn't want pity, doesn't want to mourn, but Kiyoomi stays by his side because he knows that Atsumu has a different way of coping. He grabs the DVD almost routinely, and he's happy to numb the pain. Even if it's temporary.

Miya Atsumu and Sakusa Kiyoomi promised to spend the rest of their lives together. But as years passed by, things have changed, and now all that Atsumu has is three months to remind Kiyoomi why he loved Miya Atsumu.
