Wilbur was tired of being a hero. He liked to believe that he was a good hero, but being a good hero wasn't enough. It was never enough. Always compared to his twin brother, the golden child of the Minecraft Hero Family. Wilbur lived in Techno's shadow. He hated it so much and he wasn't sure how much more he could take. He wanted to be seen for who he was. He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else's story. Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis. A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival. His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain. He had met the hero once, and that was all it took. The eldest of the Minecraft children was so much more than anyone realized. There was a deep running fury hidden under his mask. The hero was fast approaching his breaking point. That, is why Quackity chose him. Wilbur Minecraft was going to fall soon, and he was going to fall hard. And Quackity would be right there waiting, ready to catch his songbird when he did. Chuuya Nakahara got into an argument with his partner, Osamu Dazai. Now, he's riding his motorbike through Yokohama as a way to cool off. But when he swerves off of the road to avoid hitting two pedestrians and gets knocked out, he wakes up to see two Pro heroes in his hospital room. Chuuya then has to attend a prestigious school despite hardly being able to read, figure out how to get back to the Port Mafia, to apologise to Dazai, and why this old hobo wants to adopt him so badly. Basically me giving Chuuya a "normal" teen experience, and Dazai suffers for later angst <3 cross posted on ao3 on the user aoibb :3
