❝His memory is woodsmoke and monsoon earth - the one recollection fire itself refused to burn away.❞ Agnija, born of fire - carries a name she will spend the whole of her life earning, though none around her yet know it is hers to claim. Vyomantara is a realm where old magic still moves beneath court and ceremony, where flame remembers what men are permitted to forget. Within it lives a caste of women trained for exactly one purpose: to disappear. The Rupantaris wear any face the crown requires, sworn never to hold even their own reflection past a few borrowed hours. Agnija is the most gifted among them - and so she is given one final, ordinary task: become a foreign princess, promised unseen to a prince the court has already condemned as unmarriageable. She does not anticipate Prince Savyasachi - light of humour, quiet of heart, the one mind in that court sharp enough to see past every performance but hers. He loves what he finds beneath the borrowed face without a name for it, long before he learns what the loving will cost them both. Nor does she anticipate the flame itself, which has kept a truth hidden for decades - a truth that begins, unmistakably, in her. Every era carries its own reckoning. Thrones crack, courts turn cruel in the open, and a woman built to vanish is asked to survive the one curse designed to erase her entirely. Yet some roots hold long after the ground above them has been scorched clean. Can a girl raised to be no one become the single flame an entire kingdom has been waiting, without knowing it, to kneel before? Born to be forgotten. Written, instead, to be remembered.

This is a Mahabharata Fanfiction mostly based on facts we see in Star Mahabharat. Mahabharat holds a lot of facts and is a complicated and marvelous creation, But this is just a fanfiction. This story is just meant as an entertainment and there is no intention to hurt anyone's feelings, religious or otherwise. I have just borrowing the characters to weave a storyline. Summary - What happens if on a random visit to Hastinapur a attack is made on Dushyala and in saving her Arjun gets severely injured? And from thereon the story unfolds... How will Arjun recover.. why does Yudhisthira feel kinship with Karan... How will the future unfold.
