Matt Pecker, a doting and sassy eleven-year-old, has a body that's in the wrong universe, or rather, has his mind in a place it doesn't belong. He's fantasized living in the Pokémon world despite everyone's harsh teasing. That doesn't stop him, however, and he continues to dream about going there. One fateful night, his wish will come true, and Matt will be thrown into a place far from home. Matt ends up in the Pokémon world, yet in a region completely foreign to him. He'll have to journey through this unfamiliar place, meeting new friends and Pokémon along the way. Will he ever get back home, or will he even want to?
