''Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire,
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if I had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.''
-Robert Frost.

''It st-started with a-a burn; wi-with a fire that erupted m-me to life,'' I answered as I stared at my trembling hands.
His eyes that resembled orbs of liquid gold, bore into me as he asked the next question, ''And how will it end?''
''I-I...I don't know,'' I stammered as tears blossomed from my tear glands, ''H-how am I su-supposed to decide th-that?! I can't do it!'' I had never felt so helpless before.
''I have lived for a thousands of years, my dear, and never have I heard such a poor lie,'' he commented as his lips twisted into a smirk, ''So, tell me, Delilah, what will you choose? The frost of fire, or the inferno of ice?''

My name is Delilah Storme.
There was a time when I refused to believe in love and magic.
There was a time when my largest concerns were: to get good grades and flee far away from my foul father; keep myself from breaking a promise I made to my mother, who slept six feet underground; try to forget the bitter aftertaste of a mistake woven into a boy, who hid his secrets behind a philanderous lifestyle.
But then I met him.
A man who I had thought merely existed in the pages of stories written millenniums ago, and the fibers of mythology.
A man, who seemed to have subconsciously sworn to change my beliefs regarding love, and magic.
A man like no other.
And then, nothing was the same.
Note: There are going to be some spelling errors and grammatical errors in this book, due to my lack of time to edit the chapters once I'm done with them. However, I can promise you that the errors aren't bad enough to have you turn away from this story, and that it's worth the read (hopefully :) ). Please do read on, and I hope you enjoy the story :D
