We all knew this was the end. We've seen the movies, and read the books. Once the ship shows up, that marks the beginning of the end. Now of course in movies we always have a scrappy little group that manages to defy all the odds and find a way to stop the intruders to our planet in the nick of time, but real life just doesn't work that way. In real life, the aliens show up, the people die. That was a fact. We knew this was the event that would end us, our extinction was upon us. What I hadn't expected, was to survive it....

In the castle of dark spires and boxy houses, nothing is as it seems. The maids aren't really maids, the greenhouse is a wild jungle, everyone eats Mack n' cheese as their principal diet, and the leaders are fellow peers that sometimes put on a funny hat. Nobody knows much about the dark past that undoubtedly surrounds the odd castle, but nobody seems to care. ...Nobody really wants to know. In the castle, it's normal for things to be odd, strange and weird, so somethings pass without question. Like man eating plants and monsters surrounding the outside. In this piece of literature, varying organizations will view the same circumstances in differing light, and these groups will go about solving their perceived problems, how they each deem fit. As the plot unfolds these parties come into conflict with one another. None of these parties are good nor evil, yet each has their own means of origin and methods of solving their problems.
